Coming SOON - Small-Batch Pure Vanilla Extract – Madagascar, Ecuador & Indonesia
COMING MID TO LATE OCTOBER 2026 – Our first batches are currently aging and will be available once they've had time to develop their flavour.
Discover how much the origin of the vanilla bean can change the flavour and aroma of real vanilla extract. Our small-batch vanilla extracts are made with whole vanilla beans and carefully aged to develop their own naturally rich character.
Choose from three distinct origins:
Madagascar – The classic vanilla profile: rich, creamy, smooth and beautifully aromatic.
Ecuador – A deeper, complex vanilla with warm, rich notes that are wonderful in chocolate, desserts and baking.
Indonesia – Bold and distinctive with a deeper, slightly smoky character that pairs beautifully with chocolate, coffee and richer recipes.
Made in small batches for baking, desserts, coffee and anywhere you want the flavour and aroma of real vanilla. Quantities will be limited.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the vanilla extract be available?
Our first batches are currently aging and are expected to be available mid to late October 2026. Vanilla extract takes time to develop, and we're giving these batches the time they need before bottling them for sale.
Please note: As this is a handcrafted, small-batch product, the bottle, label, colour and appearance of the vanilla beans may vary. Product may not be exactly as shown.
What's the difference between Madagascar, Ecuador and Indonesian vanilla?
Just like coffee or wine, vanilla beans grown in different regions develop different flavour and aroma profiles. Madagascar is the familiar rich and creamy vanilla most people recognize, while Ecuador offers a deeper, complex character and Indonesia tends toward a bolder, darker profile.
Is this real vanilla extract?
Yes. Our extracts are made in small batches using whole vanilla beans and alcohol rather than artificial vanilla flavouring.
Can I use it for baking?
Absolutely. Use it in cakes, cookies, icing, custards, desserts and other recipes calling for vanilla extract.
Can I add it to coffee?
Yes. A small amount can add real vanilla flavour to coffee and other suitable drinks.
Why is it made in small batches?
Working in smaller batches allows us to offer extracts made from specific vanilla origins rather than blending everything together. It also means quantities of each variety may be limited.
Will all three varieties always be available?
Not necessarily. Because these are produced and aged in small batches, availability will depend on what we have ready for bottling at the time.
