Refund policy
⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS
By placing an order with Classy Canines, you acknowledge that you are responsible for all U.S. customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any other import charges assessed by U.S. Customs or the shipping carrier. These charges are not included in your purchase price or shipping charges.
If a shipment is refused because these charges have not been paid, your refund may be reduced by shipping costs, return shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and any other costs incurred by Classy Canines. If these costs equal or exceed the purchase price of your order, no refund will be issued.
REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, parts, and tags.
Please contact Classy Canines before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Restocking Fee
Returns requested for reasons other than an error by Classy Canines or an approved manufacturer's warranty claim may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
The restocking fee helps cover the cost of inspecting, testing, cleaning, repackaging, payment processing fees, and returning the product to inventory.
The restocking fee will be subtracted from the refund after the returned item has been received and inspected.
No restocking fee will be charged if:
- We shipped the wrong item.
- The item is being returned under an approved manufacturer's warranty due to a verified manufacturing defect.
- The return is the result of an error made by Classy Canines.
Return Shipping & Packaging
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error or an approved warranty claim.
All returned items must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. Products returned with damage caused by inadequate or improper packaging may not be eligible for a refund, or the refund may be reduced based on the condition of the item received.
For your protection, we strongly recommend that all returns be shipped with tracking. Classy Canines is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges paid by the customer are non-refundable.
Canadian Orders
If an order that qualified for Free Shipping is returned, the actual shipping cost paid by Classy Canines will be subtracted from the refund.
United States Orders
Shipping charges paid by the customer are non-refundable.
If Classy Canines paid more for shipping than the amount charged to the customer, the difference will be subtracted from the refund.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing sandra@classycanines.ca.
Please include your order number along with clear photographs of the packaging and the damaged item(s).
Claims received after 24 hours may not be eligible for replacement or reimbursement.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened shampoos, conditioners, sprays, dental products, or other grooming products
- Opened grooming clippers
- Opened clipper blades
- Used electrical products, including clippers, dryers, grinders, and similar equipment, unless being returned under an approved manufacturer's warranty
- Custom or special-order products
- Gift cards
- Clearance, discontinued, final sale, or sale items
Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original method of payment within approximately 10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time before the refund appears on your account.
